Dr. S S Honnani is a Surgical Gastroenterologist with 15 years' experience in advanced laparoscopic colorectal, bariatric, hepato-pancreato-biliary, Upper GI and esophagus and Abdominal wall reconstruction surgery. He is also trained in Robotic GI surgeries, MIS proctology and LASER surgery.
He worked in KMC Manipal hospital for six years in Gastrointestinal and General Surgery, later joined BGS Gleneagles Global Hospitals, Bengaluru, and worked in the department of GI surgery and multi organ transplantation for 2 years. During this time, he did his fellowship in GI surgery and liver and pancreases transplantation. From 2019 he is working in Yenepoya Specialty Hospital and practicing Surgical Gastroenterology. He is also Assistant Professor of Surgery at Yenepoya medical college and Hospital.
